The Dos Pueblos Junior all-star team was eliminated in the Section 1 tournament on Tuesday, losing to Conejo Valley 4-2.
Dos Pueblos scored a run in the 2nd inning after David Leon walked with the bases loaded, scoring Thomas Jimenez. DP’s second run came in the 5th inning on a solo home-run hit over the left field fence by Will Goodwin.
Conejo Valley scored all four runs in the 3rd inning.
DPLL’s starting pitcher, Davey Demeter, pitched 5 2/3 innings before reaching his pitch-limit. Jimenez came on in relief and recorded the final four outs to finish out the game.
The DPLL Juniors end their post-season run with a record of 6-2.
