SBSC’s 16-White wins Cal South National Cup

Santa Barbara Soccer Club Under-16 White won the Cal South National Cup this past weekend in San Juan Capistrano defeating Attack Academy 3-0 in the finals.

Sahid Conteh scored the first and third goal. Tanner Mees got the second goal.

On Saturday in the semifinals, Santa Barbara SC defeated Beach FC 3-1.

Santa Barbara SC scored 29 goals throughout the competition, only giving up 4 in the process.

This is a “Three Peat” for this group who also won this competition in 2012-2013-2014 and their fourth in five years they also won in 2010.

The Team will now compete in the Far West Regionals tournament in Albuquerque, New Mexico June 16-22 and try to qualify for the National Finals in Germantown Maryland July 26th – July 1st. The team is trying to Three Peat at Regionals and Nationals as well.
