Former Dos Pueblos aquatics standout Conner Cleary has been named to the U.S. men’s senior water polo team for the FINA Intercontinental Qualification Tournament in Shanghai, China.
The tournament, set for May 26-31, serves as a qualifier for the FINA World League Super Final in June in Dubai. The Americans are scheduled to face China, South Africa and Brazil in group play.
Cleary, who is a junior at Stanford, made is senior team debut in February at the Volvo Cup in Hungary.
Upon returning from China, Team USA will take part in a four game series with Serbia (June 4-8) at four locations in Northern California.
