TRK: Craddock, Ramos, Pepper set PRs for Warriors

Ian Craddock set a personal best in the winning the 300 hurdles and Peter Ramos posted his best shot put mark for Carpinteria in a Tri-Valley League track meet at Nordhoff on Thursday.

The Warrior boys lost 97-36, and Nordhoff won the girls meet 78-48.

Nicole Pepper established a PR in winning the 100 hurdles in 17.41 for Carpinteria. In other highlights, Brooke Hymer won the pole vault, Alleea Griffin took the 100 and Estephany Zapata De La Rosa captured the 400.

Craddock ran 43.53 for his PR in the 300 hurdles and Ramos threw 48-8.75 to win the shot put. Jimmy Graves cleared 11 feet to win the pole vault.

Carpinteria will host the Santa Barbara County Championships on Saturday. First event is at 10 a.m.
