Hailee Rios hit a two-run homer and struck out 10 batters, but Pacifica built an 8-2 lead and beat San Marcos 8-4 in a non-league softball game on Wednesday.
Rios went 2 for 4 and drove in three runs on the day. Cara Christian had a hit and scored two runs.
San Marcos falls to 7-6.
