SBSC’s Players’ Academy offers free clinic for potential prospects

Santa Barbara Soccer Club’s Player’s Academy Soccer Program is offering free clinics for boys aged 6-to-8 on May 16 and 23 at San Marcos High.

The Players’ Academy has announced comprehensive open FREE CLINIC dates for the 2014-15 academy programs.

These free clinics are open to all area boys soccer players ages 6 to 8 years of age. The clinics are designed for players to “Experience the Players’ Academy Program”.

Also, if you would like to participate in our fall programming we will place players from these FREE CLINICS into one of our two fall 2014 programs. The Players’ Academy is designed to run in conjunction with all area soccer associations in order to support all youth soccer in Santa Barbara. The Players’ Academy is designed to enhance these programs and provide a ONE TIME PER WEEK program to “Educate and grow the individual through play”.

Opportunity to experience the Players’ Academy training program are scheduled for Friday, May 16th and Friday, May 23rd

Note: Clinics are from 4:00 to 5:30pm at San Marcos High School Turf Field/ Stadium (4750 Hollister Avenue, Santa Barbara, CA 93110).

Players’ Academy Program: The players’ academy will conduct Friday programming throughout the year open to ALL PARTICIPANTS who would like to register.

In addition, in order for players to meet appropriate challenges we will conduct an EDUCO program every Wednesday. As part of the EDUCO program we will select one academy fall roster of approximately 40-45 boys participants (approximately 30 returning from 2013-14 year) and approximately 15 additional boys participants (new program).

If you believe your son has the ability, enthusiasm, character traits and desire to become a dedicated member of the Players’ Academy, please pre-register by sending your child’s full name, gender and date of birth to the Players’ Academy Director, Greg Wilson @ [email protected]. Walk-up registration is accepted as well.
