Daniel Buratto turned in a strong pitching performance, but the Dos Pueblos offense couldn’t get anything going and the Chargers lost to Thousand Oaks, 1-0, in an Easton Baseball Tournament game on Tuesday.
Thousand Oaks scored the game’s only run in the fifth inning.
The Chargers, meanwhile, were stifled by the Lancers’ Wyatt Bing. He threw a two-hitter.
“Their pitcher did a great job hitting his spots and keeping the ball down,” said DP coach Nick Katzenstein.
