PBB: Royals finish up Arizona trip

San Marcos’ baseball team completed its spring break trip to Arizona on Friday with an 8-3 loss to Arvada West from Colorado. It was the fifth-place game of the Chris Moon Invitational.

Parker Rozenburg recorded two hits and a run scored while Nolan Cope and Wesley Ghan-Gibson shared pitching duties.

The Royals’ Arizona trip included a tour of the University of Arizona’s baseball complex. The Wildcats, who won the NCAA national championship two years ago, have San Marcos grad Riley Moore on their team.

San Marcos (5-9, 0-1) returns to Channel League action on Friday at Dos Pueblos.
