PBB: Ghan-Gibson gets Royals off to a fast start

Wesley Ghan-Gibson belted a two-run homer in the first inning, igniting San Marcos to a 7-4 victory over Grace Brethren and making a winner of Jacob Pepper in his debut as the Royals coach.

The Royals scored four runs in the first inning, giving starting pitcher Nathan Kim plenty of confidence. He went six innings without allowing an earned run, allowing four hits and two walks.

Blake Katsev had run-scoring single in the first and hit a two-run triple in the fourth inning.
