CIF Polls: Royals stay on top in volleyball poll

Despite suffering its first loss of the season, the San Marcos boys volleyball team retained the No. 1 ranking in the CIF Division 2 poll.

The Royals, who played without All-CIF player Shane Hauschild, lost a five-set match against Channel League rival Dos Pueblos last week.

Dos Pueblos is ranked sixth and Santa Barbara seventh in the poll.

Also in volleyball, Laguna Blanca is ranked fifth in Division 5.
