Dos Pueblos went 1-1 on the first day of the Irvine Southern California Championship.
The Chargers won their opener, 8-6, over Long Beach Wilson. Shannon Cleary scored three goals and Ari St. Oegger and Toni Shackelford added two goals apiece. Goalie Britten Vilander had six blocks.
Dos Pueblos fell to Newport Harbor, 13-4. Cleary led the Chargers with three goals. Vilander had seven blocks and two steals.
