San Marcos outscored Buena 10-0 in the third period and romped to a 21-6 win in a Channel League girls water polo match on Tuesday
Kelsey Gellert and Eavy Barbieux each scored four goals to lead the Royals (9-2 3-1), who ranked eighth in CIF Division 1.
The score was tied 4-4 in the second period when San Marcos went on a 4-0 run. The Royals carried their momentum into the third period and blew the game open with 10 straight goals.
