Haile Johnson scored three goals in a two-minute span, sparking the San Marcos girls water polo team to an 18-7 Channel League win over Ventura on Thursday.
Johnson, a senior attacker, led all scorers with four goals, while junior Eavy Barbieux and sophomore Hailey Gellert each tallied three goals.
Goalie Kelly Purling made five saves as the Royals improved to 3-1 in Channel League.
