Camarillo scored with seven seconds left to beat Carpinteria, 11-10, in a non-league girls water polo match on Tuesday.
The Warriors were down 10-7 with 2:40 left but came out of a timeout and scored three straight goals to tie the score.
“Our team showed great heart and character to come back and make it a game, we just fell a little short today, said Carpinteria coach Bryan Swarm.
Maya Grant scored four goals and Brenda Rodriguez added three for the Warriors (3-7). Goalie Joanna Hipple made nine saves.
