Goalie Sienna Goggia came up big in the fourth period, and Kristina Garcia and Betsy Hendrix scored early in the period to break open a tight game and help Santa Barbara High beat Agoura, 8-6, in a non-league girls water polo match on Tuesday.
The Dons were clinging to a one-goal lead (5-4) when Garcia and Hendrix found the back of the cage. Goggia did her job to maintain the lead.
Coach Mark Walsh called Goggia?s play ?one of the brighter spots? for the Dons. She had six saves and two assists.
Santa Barbara spread out the scoring as seven players combined for the 8 goals. Anna Brummett led the team in steals and drawn ejections.
Santa Barbara is 2-2 on the season.
