BBK: Busch leads Bishop past Carpinteria

Will Busch poured in 17 points in Bishop Diego’s 50-39 non-league win over Santa Barbara on Tuesday in the final round of the Santa Barbara Holiday Classic.

Busch scored 15 of his 17 in  the first half as the Cardinals jumped out to a 31-12 lead at halftime.

Peter Kwock also reached double figures for Bishop Diego with 10 points.

Carpinteria was without starting players Bryson Frazer and Ian Craddock.

It was the third time already this season that the rivals had played. Bishop Diego has now won the first three meetings between the two schools. The one regular scheduled matchup remains on January 27.
