Former Bishop Diego basketball star Caleb Richey is off to a good start in his college career.
Richey, the Presidio Sports 2012-13 City Player of the Year and an All-State selection, is starting for William Jessup University, a NAIA school in Rocklin, Calif. In his debut against Montana State, he scored 12 points and had three steals in a 77-67 loss. On the next night, He scored 14 points and had two assists in a 94-81 win over West Coast Baptist.
William Jessup, currently a member of the Cal-Pac Conference, will be joining Westmont in the Golden State Athletic Conference next season.
