BBK: Ridenour’s big night leads Royals to rout

Bryce Ridenour scored 27 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead San Marcos to a 65-35 rout over Alhambra in a pool play basketball game at the Alhambra Tournament on Tuesday.

The Royals held Alhambra to just 10 second-half points.

San Marcos coach Dave Odell credited a great defensive game from Christian Widmer. Widmer also had 8 points to go along with Elijah Johnson’s 12 points.

The Royals play Y.U.L.A on Wednesday. A win in that game would lead to a match-up with L.A. City Section power Crenshaw on Friday.
