Bishop Diego was defeated by La Reina, 25-16, 26-24, 25-22, in a Tri-Valley League girls volleyball match on Thursday.
Hanna Brand and Ellie Rouse had 10 and 9 kills, respectively, to lead Bishop (4-9, 3-8 TVL) Francesca Engel and Erin Linehan played well defensively, said coach Jason Donnelly.
“We played some of our best volleyball tonight against a quality team,” Donnelly said. “It was great to see us compete.”
