San Marcos gained the upperhand by scoring five-straight goals in the second and third quarters. A 3-3 tie turned into an 8-3 advantage for San Marcos when Emerson Pizzinat scored with 5:58 left in the third quarter. Shane Hauschild led all scorers with six goals.
