Santa Barbara High dropped its opening game at the South Coast Tournament, falling to Servite 10-8 on Thursday.
The Dons fell behind 6-1 in the first half and never recovered.
Santa Barbara got a balanced score sheet, with six players tallying goals. Adam Gross had four assists and Skyler Matthews earned five ejections.
The Dons (3-5) play Tesoro on Friday.
