The U8 All-Star team from Goleta Valley Girls Softball Association won the championship in its division at last weekend’s Lindsay Rose Memorial Tournament played at Dos Pueblos.
The team was 4-0 in the tournament, outscoring its opponents by a combined score of 29-5. Goleta defeated Newbury Park, Orcutt, and Lompoc twice.
