Logan Liddell and Fabian Lundberg of SBCC came up short in the State Men’s Tennis Championships on Saturday at the Ojai Tournament, losing to the No. 2 seed in the quarterfinals.
Liddell, a former Santa Barbara High star, and Lundberg fell to Danny Garcia-Jordan Gobatie of Riverside 6-3, 6-4 at the Ojai Valley Athletic Club. Liddell-Lundberg were seeded fifth.
“They’re the No. 2 seeds and they played like it,” said Vaquero coach Lance Kronberg. “Both had big serves and both had a good day serving. That’s tough to beat.”
