Trevor Taimuty’s 89 led Bishop Diego’s boys golf team at Tuesday’s Frontier League Tournament No. 1 as the Cardinals finished in fourth place with a score of 513.
Nordhoff won the team event at 431. Santa Clara’s Patrick Holden was medalist with an even-par 71 at Rancho San Marcos.
Jack Braniff was two strokes behind Taimuty with a 91 for the Cardinals.
The next Frontier League match is Thursday in Malibu.
