Carpinteria’s Callaway receives third in CIF logo competition

Erin Callaway of Carpinteria High School received 3rd place in a statewide contest for designing a logo to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF).

In November 2012, the California Interscholastic Federation State Office announced the CIF 100th Anniversary Logo Contest. Out of 46 entries Callaway received 3rd.

Erin is a member of the Warrior volleyball team and was placed on First Team All-Frontier League.

Callaway is a senior at Carpinteria and created her design as a project in her ROP computer graphics class.

Carlos Vasquez of Lodi High School was selected as the winning design.

The 2014-15 school year will mark 100 years of the California Interscholastic Federation’s service to schools and student athletes.
