Dos Pueblos topped Ventura 25-19, 25-19, 25-21 on Thursday night in a Channel League match, giving Dos Pueblos a 5-2 record going into Tuesday’s league finale against Santa Barbara.
The Chargers have a shot at a share of the league championship thanks to San Marcos’ win over the Dons on Thursday. Tuesday’s match is at Dos Pueblos and begins at 6:30 p.m.
“The guys are looking forward to Santa Barbara,” said Chargers head coach Chris Hughes.
Jackson Wopat was DP’s leader in kills with six to go with two blocks. Connor Flynn drew praise from his coach for passing and finished with 10 digs. Josh Lemons had three blocks.
Dos Pueblos is 14-12 overall.
