San Marcos’ Simone Andretto had a strong day for the Royals. Andretto finished second to Bell in the 200 IM and second to Valente in the 100 fly.

“Overall, I was very pleased with the way we swam today,” reported Royals head coach Jeff Ashton. “Many of our swimmers had personal best times and I think that we are showing significant improvement meet to meet. This season we have 6 9th graders swimming varsity, so I’m just looking for them to get better every week.”
