Santa Barbara Soccer Club’s elite U-15 team is off to a blazing start at this week’s Dallas Cup, winning its first two games 4-0 and 3-1.

Santa Barbara is resting today before playing its final group-stage game on Wednesday against Eintracht Frankfurt.

The German side has already lost to Arlington Impact Red, a team Santa Barbara defeated 4-0. Eintracht has nevertheless been dangerous, scoring a tournament-high six goals in their other match. Eintracht sits in second place in the group standings.

One team from each group advances into the medal stage, which begins Thursday with eight teams. The championship game is on Saturday at the 92,000-seat Cotton Bowl.
