BB: DP roars in Lions Tournament opener

Ben York led a punishing Dos Pueblos offense with three hits and four RBIs as the Chargers routed Saugus 13-6 in the opening game of the Anaheim Lions Baseball Tournament on Saturday.

Dos Pueblos jumped on Saugus for 11 runs in the first three innings.

York went 3-for-4 with a double and Anthony Spiritosanto also went 3-for-4 with a two-base hit. Dustin Demeter was 2-for-3 and drove in a run.

Gabe Speier, James Savage and Brian Cho each had two RBIs.

Speier pitched four innings and picked up the win. He allowed four hits and one earned run, while striking out three.
