A five-run sixth inning pushed Bishop Diego’s baseball team past Santa Paula on Wednesday 10-6.
Jack Gregson was the winning pitcher and went 3-for-4 at the plate with two extra-base hits and four RBI.
RJ Cordeiro reached base five times on two hits and three walks. John Salda was also a common sight on the basepaths, going 2-for-2 with a walk and an HBP.
The Cardinals, who improve to 2-3, play again on Saturday against Oxford Academy.
