San Marcos’ girls water polo team honored its seniors on Senior Day with a 12-7 Channel League victory over Ventura on Thursday.
The Royals, who finished tied for second in the league standings with Dos Pueblos, will graduate Emma Del Sol and Hannah Koper.
The Royals also won a coin flip on Thursday that awards them the Channel League’s second seed for CIF pairings.
Riley Heiduk, Hannah Kopers, Halie Johnson and Hailey Gellert all scored two goals each. Senior Emma Del Sol also scored for the Royals. Jenna Phreaner had 16 saves.
