The UCSB Gauchos held a Baseball Skills Clinic for the SB and Ventura County Challengers on February 9th at Girsh Park.

Gaucho Matt Harvey says ?any chance we get to be around the Challenger crew we want to take. The joy, passion, and energy that they play amaze and excites us all?.

Challengers welcome other local ball teams and clubs to participate on the field with the 150 plus challenged players this season.

Boys and Girls with physical, developmental and intellectual disabilities, ages 5 thru 22 are invited to participate. There are teams for all abilities and skill levels, competitive and non-competitive: t-ball, coach-pitch and skills teams. Wheelchair players included too!

Registration remains open through the season.

Locations include Ventura, Carpinteria, Goleta and Lompoc (New this spring). Volunteers and sponsors sought for each program.
