Megan Flynn scored twice on Friday for Santa Barbara High’s girls soccer team in the Dons’ 4-0 non-league victory over Nordhoff.
Flynn scored the first and third goals of the game. The first came on an assist from Hannah Ross, giving Santa Barbara a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute that stood through halftime.
In the 58th minute, Danielle Smith scored on a play that started with Hanna Brisby’s shot rebounding off the goalpost. Brisby created again just two minutes later, setting up Flynn for her second goal.
Piper Lovegreen finished off a flurry of three goals in less than ten minutes by converting a pass from Hanna Gately in the 63rd.
Santa Barbara ups its record to 6-1-3 on the season.
