Dos Pueblos’ Chad Lampe won a tournament title on Saturday at the Bash at West Hills College.
Lampe defeated the top seed Armond Molina in the championship match of the 126-pound division 10-7. It is Lampe’s second tournament title this winter season.
Other Chargers who found success on Saturday include Cameron Cox’s third-place result in the 113-pound class and Paul Sinicrope’s eight-place finish in the 145-pound group.
Despite competing in only seven weight divisions, the Chargers still collected enough points to finish in 12th place out of 53 teams.
