Goalkeeper Kate Giannini recorded her second shutout as Bishop Diego’s girls soccer team battled Grace Brethren to a scoreless draw in a pool-play game at the Grace Brethren Tournament on Thursday.
“We struggled to find a goalkeeper and she stepped up to play the position,” said first-year Bishop coach Tessa Binkley of the sophomore.
Bishop (1-0-1) returns to the tournament on Friday.
