It was big year for high school football in our community. Santa Barbara and Dos Pueblos tied for the Channel League title, Cate won the Condor League and Bishop Diego captured the Tri-Valley League crown, won a school-record 12 games and reached the CIF semifinals.
To cap this terrific season, Presidio Sports, with sponsorship support from Carl’s Junior Restaurant, is naming an All-City Team. The squad was picked by the Presidio Sports staff with help from the football coaches of the seven schools Presidio covers. It will include an offensive and defensive unit and MVPs on both sides of the ball.
Presidio Sports will unveil the team and MVPs on Friday, Dec. 21.
The team will be honored at the Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table’s first press luncheon of 2013 on Jan. 7 at Harry’s Plaza Cafe.
