The senior poured in seven goal to power the Dos Pueblos water polo team to a 13-7 win over Vista Murrieta in a CIF Division 2 first-round game Thursday at the Elings Aquatic Center.
The scoring of Schroeder and four drawn ejections by Blake Parrish paced the Chargers to a commanding 9-3 lead at halftime. Graham Young put an exclamation point on the big first half by scoring a goal at the buzzer to end the second period.
Parrish added three goals, Young scored two and Jake Griffin added one to complete the DP scoring.
Goalie Emil Huebner played a solid game, recording 14 saves and assisting on two goals.
The Chargers will next play top-seeded Agoura on Saturday at the Elings Aquatic Center at 4:15 p.m.
