Both the boys and girls cross country teams from Cate School qualified for the CIF Preliminary Meet at Wednesday’s Condor League Championships hosted by the Rams.
The girls team finished second and the boys were third. CIF Prelims are scheduled for Saturday, November 10th at Mt. SAC.
Thacher’s teams won the boys and girls competitions.
The Rams’ top individual performers included freshman Charlotte Monke, Andrew Sinclair and Andrew Robbins. All recorded top-10 results with Monke placing fifth overall in the girls race.
Monke and Sinclair recorded the fourth-best times in school history on the Mesa course. Monke’s time was 20:19 in the girls race and Sinclair was clocked at 17:14.
