In a game with six lead changes in the second half, Carpinteria’s boys water polo team took the advantage when it counted in an 11-10 Tri-Valley League victory over Villanova on Friday.
“Our team held together and did not panic and we were able to score the last two goals of the game for the win,” reported Warriors head coach Bryan Swarm. “I’m really proud of our team for staying positive under some extreme adversity.”
Ben O’Hara led all scorers with five goals.
The Warriors improve to 2-1 in league play with Cate up next.
