Santa Barbara High’s girls golf team defeated Ventura by 13 strokes on Tuesday at Montecito Country Club in a 261-274 decision.
Saralisa Ortega earned medalist honors with a 43.
The rest of the Dons scorers were Alissa Crane (46), Claudia Fanaro (51), Christina Buchanan (59) and Jess Rodenas (63).
Santa Barbara (8-5 3-3) continues an incredibly busy week by beginning the Channel League Individual Tournament at Soule Park on Wednesday followed by a league dual match with Buena on Thursday. That match is for second place in league.
