Dons empty bench in win over San Marcos


Santa Barbara played seven singles players and six doubles teams in a 13-5 win over San Marcos that clinched the 34th straight Channel League girls tennis title on Thursday.

The Dons lost just two sets in singles. Lauren Feuer and Lexy Guiden were the only Santa Barbara players to play more than one set and both went 2-0.

In doubles, the team of Lisa Santry-Olivera Tadjin played together for three sets and won them all.

San Marcos got a pair of wins from the team of Amber Rowley-Alexis Flores.
