Alan Chavez scored nearly half of Carpinteria’s goals and Jacob Pate made eight saves in the Warriors’ 13-9 victory over Nordhoff on Friday.
Chavez totaled six goals with Cole Gill, Ben O’Hara and Dylan Hathaway recording two apiece.
The Warriors led 9-7 going into the fourth quarter and scored the first two of the final period to take an 11-7 lead with three minutes remaining.
Carpinteria (12-8, 4-3) hosts Villanova in its next match on Wednesday.
