Dos Pueblos’ boys water polo team went 2-0 on the first day of the Steve Pal Memorial Tournament in Irvine.
The Chargers defeated Servite 15-12 before besting Vista Murrieta 10-9. Dos Pueblos will play Dana Hills next in an early Saturday morning match.
Blake Parrish scored with six seconds remaining in the fourth quarter against Vista Murrieta to lift the Chargers. Parrish collected nine goals total in the two games.
Grant Schroeder scored six in DP’s first game and Jake Griffin scored three times in the second game.
