Dos Pueblos’ boys water polo team did not get the result it was looking for in Tuesday’s Channel League match at Ventura.
The Cougars posted a 14-10 victory over the Chargers, handing Dos Pueblos just its second league loss of the season.
The decision gives Santa Barbara High the Channel League title outright, with Dos Pueblos in second place.
Grant Schroeder’s four goals were a team-high for the Chargers on Tuesday. Two of Schroeder’s goals came on penalty shots created by Blake Parrish, who drew five ejections total.
Graham Young scored three times on four shots with a drawn ejection. Emil Huebner recorded 12 blocks in goal.
The Chargers wrap up their regular season this week with matches against Santa Barbara on Thursday and Royal on Friday.
