Grant Schroeder had a busy afternoon for Dos Pueblos’ boys water polo team, totaling six goals, six steals and four assists in the Chargers’ 13-5 victory over Buena.
It was the Channel League opener for both teams.
Schroeder also drew an ejection in the all-around performance.
“Today he was both scoring and feeding other players,” said Chargers head coach Chris Parrish.
Blake Parrish added five goals with Steven Tang and Graham Young scoring once each.
It was a 2-1 game after the first quarter but Dos Pueblos pulled away in the second and third quarters.
The Chargers (5-8, 1-0) travel to San Marcos for another league game on Thursday.
