Shane Hauschild carried San Marcos’ boys water polo team to a pair of victories at the Riverside Tournament on Friday by scoring 14 times in the two games.
The Royals defeated Palm Springs 19-11 and El Segundo 13-7.
The victories move the Royals into Saturday’s semifinals. San Marcos will face Montebello.
Supporting Hauschild’s scoring outburst were Keyvan Golizadeh with six goals and Spencer Kemp with five.
Parker Woodward was credited with 20 blocks defending the cage.
