Laguna Blanca put up a good fight in a three-set loss against a talented Windward team in a non-league girls volleyball match on Saturday. The set scores were 25-20, 25-19, 25-9.
Windward is the No. 2-ranked team in CIF-SS Division 3-AA.
The girls played really well today against a very talented team in Windward,” assistant coach Dillan Bennett said. “We competed well, and I’m very proud of how they played.”
Bella Taron paced the Owls with nine kills and seven digs. Hannah White added six kills and six digs and Phoebe Madsen picked up eight digs.
