San Marcos sophomore Sean Nakano-West recorded a career-high six goals for San Marcos’ boys water polo team in Tuesday’s 17-5 non-league victory over San Luis Obispo.
The six-goal performance came in just the second varsity match for Nakano-West.
The Royals are off to a 2-0 start. They face Arroyo Grande in their next contest.
Shane Hauschild added four scores for San Marcos. Emerson Pizzinat posted three goals, Keyvan Golizadeh two, and Kameron Bebb and Colin Gleason each with one apiece.
San Marcos goalie Parker Woodward made 10 saves in the cage.
