Dos Pueblos’ boys water polo team started out on Friday with a 15-11 victory over Mission Viejo at the South Coast Tournament, but fell in the second match of the day 8-7 to Huntington Beach.
In the Chargers’ victory, Grant Schroeder led them in scoring with five goals. Blake Parrish added four.
Against Huntington, the Chargers got two goals from Quinn Peacock and led in the fourth quarter but could not close out the Oilers.
The tournament resumes on Saturday. Dos Pueblos plays its first game at 9:35 a.m.
