Keyvan Golizadeh and Shane Hauschild each powered San Marcos’ boys water polo team with six goals in Tuesday’s 18-11 victory over Oxnard.
The Royals’ duo didn’t share the game high for goals however, as the Yellowjackets’ Tayler Dunn scored seven times for the losing team.
The Royals built a 12-3 halftime lead before Oxnard was able to battle back some in the second half.
San Marcos improves its season record to 4-0 before traveling to compete at the Riverside Invitational starting on Thursday. The Royals open tournament play against Riverside Poly.
